Day 1 Depart USA

Today: Depart for Lisbon with complimentary meals and beverages served onboard your

international flight.

 

Day 2 Lisbon/Fatima

Arrival in Lisbon, meeting with your guide and transfer to your hotel and start of the visits of the city: placa dos Rossios, placa dos restauradores. Cathedral of Lisbon and church of Nossa Se­nora de Conceicao Velha. Avenida de liberdade. Lunch and visit of the quarter of Alfama and the Castle of St Jose. Transfer to Fatima, Dinner, Rosary and Torch light procession. Overnight.

 

Day 3 Fatima

Half day of visits with lunch. Transfer to Os Valinhos and Via Crucis, penitential liturgy and Holy mass. Visit to the house of the three shepherds in Adjustrel and to the place of the Angel appearance in Loca do Cabeco. Return to Fatima, Visit of the Museum of the shrine that collect thousands of objects connected with the appearance of The Virgin among wich the crown of the Virgin with nestled the bullet that hit Jhon Paul II during the attempt of May 13, 1981 in St Peter’s Square.

Lunch and transfer to Tui. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

 

Day 4 The Camino (Portuguese way)

Early in the morning, breakfast in hotel and starting of the Camino with the first stage. From Valenca do Minho, through Tui up to Porrino. (21km). Arrival in Porrino Dinner and overnight

 

Day 5 The Camino

Breakfast in Hotel and departure for the second stage of our Camino to Santiago. The second stage will bring us from Porrino to Soutoxusto passing through Redondela (19,5 km). During the Camino we will meet plenty of pilgrims to talk with and to share our feelings and experience. At the arrival accommodation, dinner and overnight

 

Day 6  The Camino

Breakfast in Hotel and departure for the third stage of our Camino to Santiago. The third stage will bring us from Soutox­usto to Pontevedra (14,6 km). At the arrival accommodation. The city of Pontevedra sits at the end of the ria that bears its name, occupying the valleys of the Lérez and Tomeza rivers. It extends southwards to the mouth of river Verdugo in Ponte Sampaio. It is surrounded by four mountainous regions divided by two faults, one stretching north-south and one from northeast to southwest. Dinner and overnight

 

Day 7 The Camino

Breakfast in Hotel and departure for the fourth stage of our Camino to Santiago. The fourth stage will bring us from Pontevedra to Cal­das del Rei (23 km). We will arrive in Caldas in the afternoon. At the arrival accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 8 The Camino

Breakfast in Hotel and departure for the fifth stage of our Camino to Santiago. The fifth stage will bring us from Caldas del Rei to Padron (18,5 km). Padron is a real important town for the Camino to Santi­ago because it’s said that the Body of st James passed in this town before arriving to Santiago. At the arrival accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 9 The Camino

Breakfast in Hotel and departure for the sixth stage of our Camino to Santiago. The sixth and last stage will bring us from Padron to our final destination: Santiago de Compostela (25,2 km). Accom­modation, Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 10 Santiago

Breakfast in Hotel. Morning dedicated to the visit of the City of Santiago and its fantastic square: Plaza de l’Obradoiro, de la Quintana e de la Immaculata. Visit of the Cathedral and Holy mass of the Pilgrim with the Botafumeiro. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to the Baroque monastery of san Martin Pinario. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 11 Santiago/Finisterre/ Santiago

Full day excursion to Cabo Finisterre and the coast. Visit of the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca in Muxia where the body of St James ar­rived from the Holy Land. Return to Santiago with stop in the fisherman town of Carnota and Muros.

Dinner and overnight

 

Day 12 Santiago/USA.

Departure by bus to the Santiago Airport. Flight back to USA.
