About this trip

Dear Friends,

The Psalmist rejoiced when the people said to him, “Let us go up to the house of the Lord” (Ps 122:1). I am filled with the same joy whenever I think of taking a pilgrimage, especially to the Holy Land which is truly a “Pilgrimage of a Lifetime.” Our faith and knowledge of the Bible will become more tangible and lively when we visit the places where most events of our salvation history were accomplished. Each page and passage of the Bible will come alive for us. Then we will read, hear and understand the Scriptures as never before.

I was born and brought up in a small Catholic village parish in India where my father was the catechist. So the love for the sacred Scripture was instilled in me from a very young age. This eventually led me to choose my vocation as a priest and then to pursue my doctorate in the Holy Bible. So having a reasonably good knowledge of our faith and scriptures, I will be able to accompany you on this pilgrimage. I am excited at the opportunity of leading this group to the Holy Land and experience together the wonderful spiritual power of these holy places. Therefore, I earnestly invite you to consider taking up this faith-enriching trip to the Holy Land.
