About this trip

Dear Friends,
We are approaching the year 2025, which marks the Jubilee Year, commemorating 25 years since the Great Jubilee of 2000 with Pope Saint John Paul II and a decade since the extraordinary Jubilee year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis in 2015. Since the year 1300, Jubilees have always held profound spiritual and inspirational significance in the life of the Church.
Pope Francis has chosen “Pilgrims of Hope” as the motto for the Holy Year. It begins before Christmas Day in 2024 and concludes on the Feast of the Epiphany in 2026. The Holy Father believes that this year “can greatly contribute to restoring a climate of hope and trust” after two years of pandemic and suffering.
My dear friends, I truly believe that it is a great invitation for all of us to participate in the renewal that the Year of Hope is bringing.
The dates for the pilgrimages are from April 28, 2025, to May 10, 2025. Our Pilgrimage to Italy we will begin in Venice and Padova. We will visit Padua, Ravenna, Assisi, Loreto, San Giovanni Rotondo, and Lanciano. Then, we will spend our final four days in Rome, where we will visit St. Peter’s Square, participate in an audience with the Pope, visit the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and tour the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, where six Popes are entombed.
During our pilgrimage, we will also visit the Holy Staircase, where many pilgrims climb the stairs on their knees. Additionally, we will explore the largest Marian Church in Rome and take a tour of Rome itself. The last day will include a visit to the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi and a chance to see the Spanish Steps and the Fontana di Trevi. It promises to be a spectacular journey that will be cherished by all who attend. I invite you to join me and other pilgrims as we embark on this religious journey during the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope.
To be a part of this wonderful pilgrimage,
In Christ, Fr. Rafal Kandora

Michelangelo painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel between 1508 and 1512, and later painted The Last Judgment between 1535 and 1541 for Popes Clement VII and Paul III. The primary function of the chapel is the Papal Conclave, providing the place where the College of Cardinals of the church gathers to select a new Pope. Then walk through Saint Peter’s Basilica. The present structure completed in 1590 was built over the Byzantine and Middle Ages structures that marked the tomb of Saint Peter. There are more than 100 tombs within the basilica, including most recently Saint John Paul II. Celebrate.
